Jason and the Argonauts
This year, the Manitoba Theatre For Young People's 2010-11 season had Jason and the Argonauts. This was a cute story, especially with the old man acting so childish playing with Spiderman, etc. I feel that this is a must see show, but the only problem is, is that the 2 actors switch around a bit, which is very creative, but confusing. I rate this play 4.7/5.

Dalat...'Nough Said
Dalat, a Corydon restaurant, is OK. Well, maybe not. There was this creepy old lady there who was like "What's you name? How old are you? Where do you live, young one?" I was waiting for her to say, "Want to come into my bathtub with fire on the bottom? Do not be worried if you find carrots in the water and an apple in your mouth!". When we walked in, "Oh, it is sooo nice that we are in a Japanese Restaurant, that is not so traditional" and when we left, "We Got out there ALIVE?! Some place I would never go again. Price was high, water had more taste, nothing good really. At least if I were in that soup it would have flavour, or those vampires sucked it all out.I would NEVER EVER go again, and you should not either.
MY RATING:
1/5 STARS

Celebrations Dinner Theatre - Mama Mio!
I have been to various theatres, shows and restaurants, but Celebrations was my favourite: 2 things in one! I had to come back after seeing "Law and Order: Canadian Files". I loved that one so much! This time for a return, we saw Mama Mio!, a parody of Mama Mia. I had never seen or had even know the plot to Mama Mia, but Mama Mio! helped me understand, and was very entertaining. It was very funny, and I got to go up on stage and dance with them. I had no idea what to do, so I just did what the actors and the people who brought me up were doing. I was into it, while my sister wasn't. I rate this show 4.5/5 for its amazing jokes! The missing .5 is really for nothing, just the way how I didn't know what to do and they didn't explain it enough to us. I recommend coming to this show while it is still in town, or go see another Celebrations show. Oh, by the way, when I was buying the tickets, I saw posters for other shows; "Granny Ghost Whisperer", "Corner Gassed", and "Law and Order: Canadian Files". I saw many more, but those where the markable ones. Talk next week!
